Debt settlement tips

Posted: 05 Dec 2010 01:42 AM PST

Do you need assistance with your debt? There are lots of ways you can settle your debt that I bet you have never even thought of . The one thing you must keep in mind is that these companies in which you have debt only want to get their investment back or at least as much as possible . They don’t care about anything else such as your credit score, your family problems , and job situation . If you call all your creditors and tell them you want to do a debt settlement and want to see what the best offer they can give you is they will start talking . It is you who needs to make the first move and I will show you how.

The first thing you need to do is call your creditors and ask that they give you a debt settlement. If they can settle your debt then you will not owe as much and you will be yards ahead of where you are now . If you hate talking to people about your debt then you may have to hire a professional who is experiences to do this . There are some great debt consolidation programs out there that charge very little compared to the good work that they do . Take a look around and see who has a program that fits just right with your situation .

And the best tip that I can give you is to quit using your credit cards. If you need a credit card and I understand that some people do, because of places needing credit cards to hold such as; hotels, car rental places, and online payment places. The best thing you can do is get rid of all your credit cards. I don’t mean cut them up and cancel your cards, because this will decrease your credit score. I mean you need to apply for a prepaid credit card where you choose the amount of cash that is on it.
